My Formation Group organised a trip to Port Alfred+invited Dom too. It was typically unorganised, e.g.we had no idea when we were leaving+were told at 9:20 that morning that we were leaving at 9am!! Anyway we eventually got there+went to the beach. The water was warm+several of us had much fun jumping over+under the waves. Following this we had a braai, with music playing+lots of chatting+joking. It was a great day!
On the way home,we drove past a big pineapple which was appropriately sign-posted as 'big pineapple'! I jokingly said we should go there+so the car was immediately turned around+there we went! It was in the middle of a pineapple farm+we went inside to a shop which appropriately sold pineapple related bits+bobs! I guess you have to see it to believe it, so I've included a pic!
